i realized a while back, when i was around some old friends, that i have my own vocabulary. and only a few people understand it. so i decided to make an Christel to English Dictionary. that way EVERYONE knows what im talking about ( oh and so they can all be like me, which is what EVERYONE wants in the first place, right?) ready? here we go

• sump = something (my baby brother started this one, he was a little deaf when he was born and couldn't hear to emulate the english language)
• unna one = the other one or something different (used in a general sort of way)
• unna one kind = the other one (used in a more specific manner)
• itty bitty baby one kind = small (note the use of 5 words to describe 1)
• christelmas = christmas
• forwent = past tense of 'forgo'
• chilly brew ha ha's = beers (thanks to daniel)
• haggamers = hamburgers
• toilee pinter = toilet paper
• ellelator = elevator
• shlellows = marshmallows
• fancy kind = unusual
• strawgabiggies = strawberries
• neenut putter = peanut butter
• smashed tatatoes = mashed potatoes
• co-hee = coffee
• war-tow = water tower
• charlie foxtrot = cluster fuck
• "SHUT UP!!!!" = "no way", "you're kidding", "that's amazing", " get out!", "WOW!"
• "WHO DIS?!?!?!" = "hello"
• "not knowin" = "i dont know"
• "no gotty" = "i dont have it"
• "what do?" = "what are you doing?"
• "where go?" = "where are you going?"

OH and almost every noun is pluralized,

• i put some sugarS in my co-heeS.
• milkS in my cerealS.
• i want chickenS for the dinnerS.

ok so i guess its really just anything pertaining to food that gets pluralized.

and everyone gets a "The"

• THE mommie
• THE daddy
• THE tistel-girl
• THE charlie dog
• THE boy
• THE me

now, go forth and confuse the shit outta people with your new language! YAY!!!!!

accepting my limitations....

so the other night, after i got out of the tub, i decided i was going to put on a little something more *ahem* "inspiring".... ya know, instead of an oversized Tshirt and big ole pj bottoms.

so i dug through the dresser drawer that houses items of the inspirational variety. a drawer that OBVIOUSLY doesn't get used often... i mean SERIOUSLY, how often can you wear the Naughty Nurse outfit before it gets old?

i keed... i keed.

but back to my story.


i put on one thing... and it's too much. i put on another thing... and it's not enough.... i put on another and it's not what i was looking for. it was like Goldilocks Gone BAD!

i decided to scrap the idea and opted for the regular old PJ's, remembering that E mentioned being tired earlier in the evening. so, i figured my naughtiness would have been received well, but would have been more like Dress-Up, than my original intentions.


so shortly after, i started sneezing. and then my eyes got all scratchy. and my neck was all itchy. and i was all manner of finding myself in a full-blown allergy attack.


yes, i will admit it. my naughty items had not been used in SO long that they were DUSTY. no lie. and as we all know, i am allergic to dust.


you can see where this is going right?

had i stayed with my original game plan, E would have come home to a sexily dressed wife with watery, swollen eyes, a runny nose, and scratch marks all over her neck in a benadryl induced coma.

HOTT? right?



yeah. nuh-uh.

guess which piggie gets none.

sitting on the couch last night, with my dear husband the following conversation transpired:


"this little piggie went to market, this little piggie loves you lots. this little piggie ate ... ham... or something..."

"HAM? the PIGGIE ate HAM?"

"they are cannibalistic piggies."

"what are they? BOARS? are you trying to tell me that because my feet are so big, my piggies are now considered BOARS with giant scary tusksksksksks?"

"what was that last word?"

"tusk-sk-sk-sk-sks."

"oh right. i thought i caught that"

"stop trying to change the subject. you think i have BOARS for toes. huge, truffle-sniffing, man-killing cannibalistic BOARS!"


(at this point he is crying from laughter. and trying to still have this very serious conversation with me and i have tucked my feet under me, so the next man they kill isn't him.)


later on, he tried to play with my feet and i snapped back at him with,

"LEAVE MY BOARS ALONE"
